That video was fun! You asked, Who is better - young or old? Obviously there is no answer, not even with a beginner yogi or an experienced yogi, still no guarantees of better-ness.

I think the best yogis have an attitude of learning and also the blessing of finding the guidance and courage to stay on the path to take them to where they want to go - which for a yogi may be a state of Union (rather than a yoga pose).

In the most recent issue of Yoga Journal (I think Oct. 09?) there is a blurb about an older man who recently discovered yoga. It was so inspiring. I think that sometimes the older generation gets "stuck in their ways" and is unwilling to open their minds to something considered "new" or "for young people." Nothing could be further from the truth.

A woman in her early 60s recently decided to try yoga as she was seeking something that would help her relax and relieve stress. I am so thrilled that my blog, http://thepranamama.com, had a part in convincing her that yoga really can change your life.

I hope many more older people will decide to give it a try. I also love that children are learning from a very early age, for lifelong benefits. No matter how old you are, anyone can learn something new and find peace and wellness in their lives.
