I love how more and more athletes are using yoga as a cross training and meditative tool to be the best they possibly can at their chosen sport. From highschool football players to NBA stars, yoga is fast becoming a must.
Check out these two interviews with Olympic athletes Emily Cook (freestyle skier) and Katherine Ruetter (speed skating) in regards to their yoga practice.

I just love how yoga is reaching such a wide variety of people with all different spiritual and physical backgrounds. These interviews are great – I especially love Emily Cook stating she was “born to be upside down.” That’s great coming from a freestyle skier!
I think it’s great it’s being used more and more. Especially by athletes. I want to get into yoga. I am just no flexible. I know that yoga is so calming!
