This is awesome!! I am so thrilled to see how many wonderful organizations and resources have successfully brought yoga to the classroom. My own child benefits from ChildLight Yoga's presence in her school, and I had the opportunity to witness a class when I was volunteering in the classroom. The children were so receptive to learning different breathing techniques, fun poses and singing songs with positive messages. Keep up the great work - you are spreading something amazing throughout the world!

What a fantastic and generous idea Donna - thank you! Thanks also for the shout out to Yoga 4 Classrooms. The fully-illustrated Y4C Teacher's Guide is near ready for print and the local programming here will soon be expanded nationally. We are thrilled to have created a comprehensive program addressing social, emotional and physical health - specifically designed for the space-limited, time-crunched classroom. It's been a 3 yr. development project involving a ton of research, loads of feedback from teachers and administration, and a 2 yr. pilot program at a local school. The first seminars are planned for the spring. Having said that, you are absolutely correct that it can be challenging to get these types of programs up off the ground at schools. Your tips will be invaluable to anyone seeking to bring yoga and mindfulness education to the education environment. Thank you!
