Lion pose is an ideal pose to connect with your inner lion. This pose is all about letting go of negativity and embracing your inner strength and wisdom. Messages the lion shares with us include: hold your head up, lead others with a loving heart, have courage.

Lion Pose – Simhasana
- Sit cross-legged or kneel low
- Think of something negative in your life, squeeze it in clasping the hands, crunching up the face, tight, tight
- Let it go by extending the arms forward and roarly loudly, sticking the tongue out
- Repeat three times
Benefits: releases tension in the face, neck and chest, tones the face and throat, activates the immune glands of the lymph nodes and tonsils, strengthens the lungs
