Teacher In-service
One, two or three hour in-service courses are offered. These can be catered to the interests of your staff but may include:
- Building a Personal Yoga Practice - explore what you can do for you mentally, physically and emotionally and how to build a practice that suits you
- How can I teach yoga? I’m not a yoga instructor – yoga fundamentals to help non-yogis feels confident in bringing yoga into their classroom
- Mandala Magic – enter the world of mandalas, examine their various cultural representations and learn how to create your own or use them in class
- Once Upon a Pose – yoga adventure stories meet numerous curriculum requirements and are a fun, fully interactive teaching methodology, based upon the book Once Upon a Pose: A Guide to Yoga Adventure Stories for Children
- Stress Reduction – skills and techniques to keep you healthy and happy, a fun way to reduce stress and change your perceptions
- Yoga for Little Ones – discover how yoga can be used with babies and toddlers with great success, great workshop for day-care providers
- Yoga for Special Needs – yoga is an effective therapy for children with autism, down syndrome and cerebral palsy, learn how to adapt yoga to meet special needs requirements
- Yoga for Teens – yoga helps teens with focus, stress, self-esteem & fitness, let me show you how with Sun Salutations and a Yoga Unit perfect for PE, Fit for Life, school sports teams and CALM classes
- Yoga with a Chair- fun yoga routine using a basic chair, great for space constraints found in classrooms, those confined to a wheel chair, and coffee breaks
- Yoga for Asthma – tips & techniques for helping individuals with asthma (see also Effective Yoga Exercises for Asthma Relief)
