Restorative Yoga Nidra Online Course

Join the restorative revolution! Delve deep into restorative yoga and the ancient art of yoga nidra. Are these nourishing practices calling to you? Do you wish you better understood how they worked and why?

Add a deeply nourishing and healing element to your yoga practice with restorative postures, breathing practices, and yoga nidra.

Explore the joy and art of restorative practice to support the growth and healing of each participant. When the body is fully supported it is then able to let go of deeply held tensions and stresses, releasing into deep relaxation. This allows for healing, replenishment, restoration, and a return to homeostatsis.

Through first-hand experience with the postures, discussion of the nervous system, and study of the impact of stress on the body, participants will learn to create, practice, and guide restorative yoga practices.

We will become familiar with the ancient practice of yoga nidra and progressive relaxation techniques. In addition, the importance of creating a safe, nurturing environment and how to facilitate that goal will be covered.

This training is suitable for yoga teachers and teacher trainees, and anyone wanting to incorporate restorative yoga practices into their work or personal lives.

This workshop fulfills 25 Hrs Yoga Alliance Continuing Education hours and is an elective module of the 300 HR Yoga Teacher Training at Lahari Yoga.
